Crèche

Great news!

Thanks to so many people buying solidarity price tickets, we are pleased to announce that ‘Kids Deserve the Best’ will be providing a FREE, professional, daytime crèche for pre-school-age children throughout the festival!

It’s in Alington House, one of the Festival venues, right in the heart of Durham. You can find directions here.

Places for childcare must be booked and confirmed by Monday 2nd July 2018. Please book directly with ‘Kids Deserve the Best’ by sending this form to sarah@kidsdeservethebest.co.uk

Spaces are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Childcare will not be provided if no pre-booking is made. Parents must provide meals, snacks, drinks, nappies and wipes for their children.

As space in the crèche is limited, you may like to give them a call on 0191 2507025 to confirm that your email has reached them.

If you book a space for your child and no longer need this space, please let them know as soon as possible so they can re-allocate your space to someone else on the waiting list.

If you would like any further information about Kids Deserve the Best and how they work, then please take a look at their website www.kidsdeservethebest.co.uk

Obviously, this crèche is not free for us to provide, but we felt it was important to make sure that all parents are able to engage fully in the festival, while knowing that their children were safe and happy.

And please, a reminder, although People, Pits and Politics are paying for the crèche, its operation is run by Kids Deserve The Best, so please direct any questions to them.
